Have you heard the news?

Club Meetings are very important to all members!  You need to come to the meetings as there are so many new and exciting things coming up.  The meetings are the Tuesday after the third Saturday of the month.  The meetings are open to all members and start at 7pm at the arena.  Contact us if you have any questions.  We encourage our members to come to the meetings as our members are the deciding factors of what the club is doing. 

Meeting date is set for February 7, 2012 at 7pm sharp at the arena.  I strongly suggest if you are a member and would like to voice your opinion about things the meetings are the place to come.  THE COMPLAINING AT THE SHOWS WILL STOP EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY AND ALL MEMBERS WILL RESPECT THE OFFICERS OF THE CLUB OR WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE ON THE SPOT AND SUSPENDED FROM THE CLUB DEPENDING UPON THE CONDUCT.  If you have complaints you have the right to be heard and your time to speak is at the meetings.  Trust me I have complaints too.

 Elections are coming up in April and May.  Nomination time comes in March.  There will be nominations for President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Speed Chairman, Pleasure Chairman, Board Members, and Junior Board members.  Please remember if you are being nominated and you are will to accept the nomination this comes with expectations.  Everyone who wants to be an officer or on the board needs to be able to donate some time to Pasco Horsemens Association.  Every position in the club has expectations and jobs to get done.  There are always things that need to be done for our shows and to prepare for the shows.  During the month of March there will be nomination forms at the shows for you to turn in to the office to nominate people for such positions listed above. Nomination forms will be coming out in March make sure you fill out your nominations.

We are always looking for volunteers to help at any of the shows.  we need volunteers for the pleasure and speed shows.  We need volunteers for cleaning up garbage at the showgrounds.  we need volunteers for helping us advertise by word of mouth.  Let all of your friends in the horse world know to come and check out our shows.  We are trying to make sure all of our shows are done on time and fair.  We have a pamphlet showing you all of the claas descriptions at the office and we encourage everyone to take one and take one to your friends in the horse world to encourage them to come and check us out.  We want everyone to come to PHA and enjoy themselves.

 

We are in need of sponsors. if you know anyone who can help and sponsor our club please let us know.  We do put the business card of any sponsor in our newsletter each month.  We are looking for sponsors for the speed events to pay out $25.00 to the fastest time in an event at the circuit speed shows each month.  We are also looking for sponsors for the club as a whole.  If you know of anyone please let them know to contact Curt or Jodye or your chairman.  We are really encouraging anyone that can help us find sponsors to please let us know about who we can contact!!!

We will be doing a brand new trail course this year.  We have a lot more room and we will be adding new and exciting things to our trail course this year.  The trail course has been a little bit different for each pleasure show.  We hope everyone is enjoying some differences at each show!!!
